The Skinfit Team are excited to be chosen as your wedding day Make-up artists. This is possibly one of the most important days in your life and we would like to help make it easier.

There are 4 easy steps to achieve successful wedding Make up.

  • Confirm Your Booking
    Step 1

    We require a 50% deposit of the total for your wedding day to confirm your booking. We get many requests for Special Occasion Make up and confirming early will ensure you are our priority on your chosen date. We recommend confirmation at 8 weeks prior to your big day. If we do not receive confirmation a minimum 8 weeks before we will prioritize another wedding party. If you cancel your make-up less than 8 weeks prior to your wedding day the 50% deposit will not be refunded.

  • Prepare Your Skin
    Step 2

    Good skin, Great Make up. Our professional artists and make up range can only do so much. Think about what your skincare concerns and needs are, then come in and chat to one of our Qualified Therapists. We do not charge for skincare consultations and offer effective & affordable treatments. We have two incredible natural Australian skin care ranges and numerous devices to help enhance your natural skin.

  • Think About Your Theme
    Step 3

    Make up likes/dislikes and what makes you comfortable. We suggest that you pin pictures of Make-up you like and we can give you our professional opinion about a look that will suit your day & face. We will discuss all of this at your Make up trial to create your own timeless individual look.

  • Book a Make-up Trial
    Step 4

    Our artists are confident and will listen to your requests. We recommend a trial for the bride or anyone who is unsure about having their Make-up professionally applied. You may have a trial any time before your big day. Try to have your hair trial on the same day as your Make up trial. It is nice to have your trial on a day that you have an occasion on as not to waste your look.

What Else Do I Need To Do?

Think about Lips. Do you have a favourite? Look for a colour that you are familiar with or suits your complexion, lip-gloss is ok. Our artists will help you to choose something at your trial if you are unsure. You and your entourage will need to take a lipstick to refresh during the day. (Purchase this before the day, Skinfit sells cosmetics at the salon or on our online store)

Are you having a tan for your wedding day? It is best you have your trial tan just before you have your trial Make up, this way your artist can give you a realistic preview to your Make up on the day. Spray tans take quite some scrubbing off the skin, a trial tan needs to be had at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding day. We use Sunescape Australian tan, with a natural finish - NO ORANGE!!!
